An Open Letter to the People of the United States #9

Went to Church yesterday and heard something that concerns everyone of us in the United States. Our Pastor Walter Mueller passed the platform to a video of Andy Stanley, which as far as Pastors go is a rarity Considering the importance of what they both speak on on a regular basis.

But yesterday's message was something different, in that it concerned the status of the United States, now in his preaching Andy usually likes to make some correlations from life and the Bible and do it in a way that keeps you interested in what he's saying.

But again yesterday's message was something different, he made a point to the audience, that unlike other messages where sometimes interpretation of what he said by audience members was a part of what was going on, but in this message he asked the members not to apply their interpretation to what was being said, because every word he uttered was exactly what he meant when it was being said.

You can hear him as he speaks about how the only thing that is going to save the United States of America is the people, and especially the Christian people and he explains how, but he does not use Bible interpretation, he uses what was said by our fore fathers concerning our liberties and our responsibilities,

I have often touted that rights (aka liberties) are directly tied to responsibilities, giving a body of people rights without the inherent responsibilities is nothing more than a short cut to anarchy, need proof, just look around you.

I do not claim to be a speaker on the level of Andy and Walter, I do claim my citizenship in the greatest country in the world despite the erroneous leadership we are presently in the yoke of and I will exercise my responsibility in defending our way of life against all comers, that's just me, an American Citizen.

Now you are probably going to think that I am going to try to win you over to the Christian Faith, but I am not doing that, really, I am not, if you would like to hear more about the Christian Faith, I would be more than happy to assist you in any way I can, but that's not for here, this is about out country, yours and mine and what must be done to save it. In Andy's message which is about 30 minutes long he covers the rights we have under the first ten amendments of our Constitution and how we are the only country on the earth that has the right of the citizens written where everyone can see them. He speaks to the intent of the forefathers in the process of drafting these rights and freedoms they guarantee to each citizen. Then he speaks of the responsibilities that are inherent within these rights. This in my estimation is truly a thought provoking message given by a Christian Pastor who is also an American Citizen. If you are interested in listening to what he has to say follow this link

This is a messag we should all listen to, not for the fact it is from a Christian Pastor, but because besides being a Pastor, Andy Stanley, like you an I is an American Citizen, and if you have something to say about saving our country, then speak it.

I know all of us do not have the platform that Andy and Walter have being Pastors. But we do have a venue through which we can make our voices heard. One voice in the breeze is often unheard and blown away with every gust, but many voices a roar make which cannot be ignored.

Join us in saving our country for our posterity which is inclusive of those who come after us, all of them.

Please follow this link and see what can be done to save that which has given us so much. And promises so much to those who come here the right way, we are a nation of laws, the ones that provide for the security and well being of it's citizens. The newer ones that detract from individual rights and freedoms, need to change to reflect the Bill of Rights our forefathers gave us.

Take up you're responsibilities as an American Citizen and join us.

Where there are rights with no responsibilities, there anarchy soon prevails

A believing American who still cares
