Where does race stop and humanity begin

Seems to me, that there is so much emphasis placed on being subjected to discrimination, be it racial, sexual, professional, et al, that the idea of one's humanity is left to suffer. Everyone of us black, white, red, brown, yellow has stories to tell about being discriminated against. I hear one black man say "the life of a black person holds no value in the United States." I hear Indians say that a football team called the "Redskins" is offensive because it is derogatory, I hear Jews say it denies the suffering they went through in the "Holocaust."

Everybody has a point of fact to make in saying I have been oppressed. But today, who is being oppressed, a black man in a black neighborhood is oppressed when a police officer stops him. a woman is sexually harassed because someone compliments her, an atheist is oppressed because the is a God.

A citizen is oppressed because a government oversteps it's boundaries and forces it's way into the citizen's life, a criminal is oppressed because he or she is made to pay the consequences of their actions.

America we have become a country of PLOM (Poor Little Ole Me), a bunch of "Namby Pamby, worthless "sucafied" babies. Used to be, when a "Stand up" man or woman screwed up, they would promptly admit it and move on, but today, "Yeah Right" today it's blame the system, blame the prejudice, blame the other races, blame the other religions, blame God, blame the devil, blame the laws, blame acceptable social behaviors, blame the weather, blame the "Chicken that crossed the road" blame everything else you possibly can, but above all "DO NOT ACCEPT RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING YOU DO."

Florida, Missouri, now New York, in the past, California, Selma, Little Rock, shall I keep going? How do we hold the government accountable when we don't hold ourselves accountable? Mike Brown, he was "Such an upright child, a good human being" was he, pictures prove different, testimony proves different, evidence proves different. When are we going to admit that as a people whom have become dependent on the Government handouts that are given consistently we have lost the identity of independence, and being resourceful? When are some parents going to step up and be parents instead of buddies, when will lawmakers be held accountable for what they screw up and for their behaviors, when is a lie going to be a lie, something that deminishes the person telling it.

Black communities complain that white cops in their neighborhoods kill black children for no other reason than they are black, Latino illegals complain that they are not receiving the benifits the rest of the country receives, (aren't they illegal?) criminals that rob and murder blame mommy and daddy because the spanked them too hard, crime is minimized by Lawyers so their clients get off, and they get paid.

America, when will we grow up and admit we screwed up, America when will we correct our own errors, America, when will we stop "Molly Coddling," When will we as Americans stop spoon feeding our children and raise them as good honest responsible people, not some low grade thugs that are way to stupid to be citizens and continue to be leeches.

Charles Barkley makes a statement that he believes and his friend calls him on it and bring Slavery into the picture, I know slavery was a thing that blacks had to deal with for a long time, they were separated from their families, whipped, tortured, abused, killed, raped. and made to feel worthless. But that time is over, yes it is something to remember, just like the Holocaust, but does that govern the life of a black today? White cop, black neighborhood, dead kid, cop's fault? Balck on Black crime up in number, does the black community do anything about it, nope, does Al Sharpton say anything when a 5 year old get shot in the face, nope,

So who's in the wrong America?

WE ARE, NO ONE ELSE, WE ARE. From the President down to the homeless guy on the street (Inclusiveness), we are the ones who have to fix it, Government won't, doesn't know how so it on us the citizen, the person on the street, in the car, in the office, in the bar, restaurant, under the bridge, it' up to us to fix America, and we start with ourselves.
